THE ENTRANCE AND FRONT DOOR:  Seasons of the Church Year - ADVENT

Starting in the lower left, is Advent. Depicted is the Tau Cross (see Window One on the East wall) also known as the Advent Cross of the Cross of Prophecy. This is said to be the type of cross Moses raised up in the wilderness (Numbers 21:4- 9). We also see the Messianic Rose coming from the Old Testament scripture of Isaiah 35. “The desert shall bloom as a rose at the coming of the glory of God.” The color for the season of Advent is traditionally purple.
