THE ENTRANCE AND FRONT DOOR:  Seasons of the Church Year - EPIPHANY

The third depiction is Epiphany and the Cross Crosslet also called the Missionary Cross or the Epiphany Cross. This represents the revelation of Christ to the Gentiles and parallels the spreading of the Gospel to the four corners of the Earth. Widely familiar to this season is the five- pointed star, or Epiphany Star which guided the Wise Men to the new Savior. The traditional color for Epiphany is white.
